Satisfy that salty, crunchy craving with these wonderful little chips. They are easy to make and the good news is you can eat as many as you want! What a great way to get that 1/2 cup a day of green leafy veggies into your diet.

Ingredients

  • 1
    Bunch of Kale
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Olive oil
  • 1/4 Teaspoon
    Garlic powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon
    Salt
  • 1 Pinch
    Fresh black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pre-Heat Oven to 350.

    Bake at 350
  2. Remove leaves from stems.

  3. Chop into chip size pieces.

  4. Wash and spin dry.

  5. Toss leaves together with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  6. Coat leaves throughly.

Coating kale chips with olive oil and spices.
  7. Spread out in one layer on cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until crisp.

  8. One of my favorite picky eaters enjoying a bowl of fresh baked kale chips!

Nutrition: Wild greens are significantly more nutritious and kale is one of the only vegetables that can out shine wild greens! Kale is a wonderful source of cancer-fighting glucosinolates. Just one serving has more fiber than 3 pieces of whole grain bread and more calcium than a glass of milk!

How long do you cook them for at 350?

Hey Darlene, about 12-15 minutes. Let me know how you like them. They’re not potato chips, but I do enjoy these too, and they are so much better for you. For some reason the template I use wont let me give a range for the cooking time.
